[00:02:31] And I wasn't able to come back to you guys, like I said, I was last week, but we stopped at chapter none in the book of Joe, but we heard what Bill Dad had to say in reference to Joe.

[00:02:47] I guess I would say in my own words, the pity party that Joe was having for himself. But before we get into that, let's get into this.

[00:02:59] You know, guys, we always give guys some glory, so have a little father. We come to you right now on the name of Jesus.

[00:03:07] We thank you for the very breath that you breathe into our body on this day. We thank you for your grace and your mercy because we know that it is new every day.

[00:03:18] Heavenly Father, we thank you for etching your daily breath across the tables of our heart by the God.

[00:03:24] Let's out the dark into the light today, Father God. Make our cracket pamph, straight before your face. So like you said in your word, Father God, that I like and shine before me and so that you can get the glory.

[00:03:38] Our Father and Heaven. Heavenly Father, we know that whom the sun touched indeed we are blessed. We thank you, Father, but all the things that you're doing in our lives today, Father God.

[00:03:49] We don't worry about anything right now, but this moment. Give me you the praise, even you, the praise for highest praise. I'll allow you to your name, my Lord. You are worthy to be praised on this day.

[00:04:03] We thank you this day, Father God. For inner seating on our behalf, put in a hedge protection around and about us, making us prosper as Father God. We thank you for the newointing of Heavenly Father, that you placed on our lives Heavenly Father.

[00:04:17] We thank you for the purpose of Heavenly Father. For the purpose that you have wielded for our life, Father God, you said in your word that you knew us when we was in our mother's womb.

[00:04:29] That you know every hair on our head Heavenly Father. You said in your word that we have not the thoughts that you think of us, but that the thoughts that you think of us are high above anything that we could possibly imagine.

[00:04:45] So on this day, Father God, we give you the highest praise. We thank you, we magnify and we lift up your name.

[00:04:52] Glory be to God on this day, have a Luilla and we seal it with the blood of Jesus and in the name of Jesus. Amen. Everybody. Amen and amen.

[00:05:05] So guys, welcome back. I know we have been gone for a bit. We did a Monday of last week and we didn't seem to make it back over here to the YouTube or to the TikTok channel.

[00:05:21] Since Monday, like I said, you grew up in doing a little bit of everything. She's got a hands on a little bit of everything right now. I'm preparing for our conference week for those of you that are in North Carolina. You want to find yourself there.

[00:05:37] It's free to the public be in the building. Thank you all. Outreach Center is coming to North Carolina. They'll be in the Winston Salem area, the downtown Mariat Winston Salem area.

[00:05:50] For those of you guys that are in the triad or the surrounding counties like I am, please come on out and join us. It's free to the public is a leadership conference.

[00:06:02] And they're coming all way from Virginia and they bring us some people with them. They bring in some people out of Georgia. We got a keynote speaker bit Bishop.

[00:06:11] Dr. Arthur West, a be in the building. He affiliates over several churches in that area in this area. So he'll be the keynote speaker. And of course, our special special host, the hosting church pastor and Bishop.

[00:06:27] Walter Anderson and your girl has gotten the pleasure of being the MC for this event. It is a two day event. This August 9th and 10th will be in the building at 9 a.m.

[00:06:39] To 12 noon will be back that evening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. You don't want to miss it. It's going to be some fun. We're going to learn a lot.

[00:06:50] We don't give guys some praise because he is worthy to be praised and everything that we do in our lives. If it wasn't for God, we wouldn't be breathing breath in our body right now at this moment.

[00:07:03] If it wasn't for God's grace and mercy, we wouldn't have that grace over top of us that covering that cover and that he gave us so so long to go before he created the foundations of the earth.

[00:07:18] You guys got to remember that they told us that in Ephesians when Paul went over to Ephesus, he told the people that God adopted us unto him.

[00:07:29] As soon as we accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, all those spiritual blessings that he bestowed on his people back in Moses and Abraham say, thank God for us.

[00:07:43] Thank God for Jesus Christ, adopted us the Gentiles into the food. So guys, you don't want to miss that event. We're going to have a great great time if you're in the area and if you're not in the area, you can kept a catch it live on our YouTube channel.

[00:07:57] One there YouTube channel actually on St. Paul at Reaching Nurse Channel. So guys, let's get into the world today. Let's try to go over to Joe.

[00:08:07] Let's do a quick recap for those of you that are just joining the show. My name is Victoria Jay. I am the host of 12 Street Top Back podcast. We are a faith-based podcast right out of North Carolina.

[00:08:21] We've been doing this a little bit over three years now and we are new to the area. Thank you one and all for joining as well as TikTok. We are new to TikTok.

[00:08:32] We just started on TikTok about a week or so ago. We just tested it out. We tested it out and we hope you guys enjoy the world as much as our regular followers do over on my YouTube channel as well as over on Spotify, Amazon, Apple, good pods where we are the number one relationship podcast for the last couple of years.

[00:08:58] I wouldn't say number one every time, but we haven't failed under the third place spot. But for the last month got glory be to God. We have been number one over their emulation shifts and society and culture. So you know, God is moving it right along.

[00:09:17] But it's not about being first. It's not about being last because we know in God's work he said the last would be first and the person would be last. We are above. We're not beneath. We are the head. We're not the tail. So, and all that good stuff. So guys let's jump right into it.

[00:09:35] I'm going to do a quick recap for you guys that have not read the book of Job. The book of Job started out with a heavenly debate between Satan and God or conversation between Satan and God.

[00:09:52] And it transferred over into the earthly womb which is going to end in the spiritual realm as God shows up on the same.

[00:10:01] And Job as we know, I know most of us if we have not read the story for ourselves, we've heard about Job. I Jo was upright. He was faithful. He was a man that shunned evil and feared God.

[00:10:17] We've heard about this. We heard about how in the beginning God told Satan, try my faithful servant, Job. And of course, Satan, he said, well, you know, don't you have a hedge around him. Don't you have a hedge around him? And God's fellow him, you know what?

[00:10:38] I'm not going to go on in trauma and I'm saying that in my own layman's time. Go on, I'm going to try Jo. And Satan did just that. And he didn't go back once but he went back twice.

[00:10:48] But it was under God's permission. So he's Satan can't do anything that God does not allow him to do in our lives that we don't allow him to do in our lives.

[00:10:59] Satan has no authority. The only authority that Satan has in our lives is the authority that we give him. But if you were a child of God, you were walking with God, then you know God has placed all that same power in our hand to rebuk Satan. Stop him in his tracks.

[00:11:19] If nothing else, I just say sometimes God's, I believe the blood of Jesus. Satan, you gotta go. That's my power.

[00:11:29] That is my superpower. All of us are looking for a superpower in this world. My superpower is I believe the blood of Jesus because I know the blood still works.

[00:11:39] So we got into Jo blues and everything. He's lost his children. He's lost his, he was a wealthy man. He lost his wealth. His friends has shown up on the scene and for seven days and seven nights they set quietly with Jo.

[00:11:58] They didn't recognize Jo when they first came on to the scene. But oh wait, Jo starts to speak and what he does not do is he does not curse God. He begins to speak on the day that he was born.

[00:12:14] That is what he starts to curse. And he says his little speel and how death would be more welcoming than actually going through what he's going through now and why has God forsaken him.

[00:12:29] But he does not curse God. So his Jo was friends, they start to speak up. The first one that spoke was buildin. He spoke and as I told you guys a week ago,

[00:12:43] buildin is one of those guys strictly by the book, strictly by the book. He's like you know what, um,

[00:12:51] evil is evil. Good is good. Jo why don't you go ahead and just admit that you've done something wrong and maybe just maybe God will do what he does or he'll redo restore.

[00:13:10] Here restore you. But go ahead and be that stand up upright, faithful man. We know you to be. You've given other people wisdom. God, that's conversation. Go ahead and do that and Jo answers him and he says no.

[00:13:28] He said I wish I could have a conversation with God. But who am I? I am a mere person. I'm just a person. So you know, I know I probably won't win that argument either.

[00:13:41] But if I got the chance to have a conversation with God and have a mediator, that's what I would do. So now we're over. We're coming on this chapter non over into 10, but I'm going to go ahead and read non.

[00:13:55] And today I am reading an animal and I be for those of you that just start following us and chapter non reads just like this. Jo replied indeed I know that it is a true, but how can mere mortars prove their innocence before God?

[00:14:14] Though they wished to dispute with him, they could not answer him one time out of a thousand. His wisdom is profound. His power is vast. Who has resisted him and come out unscathed?

[00:14:30] And I know that to be true any of us who can resist God and come out or question God and come out unscathed? He goes on to say, you know, he moves mountains without their knowing it and over turns them in his anger.

[00:14:45] He shakes the earth from its place and he makes pillars tremble. He speaks to the sun and it does not shine. He seals off the light of stars.

[00:14:59] He alone stretches out the heavens and shrids on the waves of the sea. He is the maker of the bear and the orange.

[00:15:13] He performs wonders that cannot be phantom miracles that cannot be counted. When he passed me I cannot see him when he goes by, I cannot perceive him if he snatches away who can stop him.

[00:15:29] Who can say to him what are you doing? God does not restrain his anger. How then can I dispute with him? How can I find words to argue with him?

[00:15:44] Though I were innocent, I could not answer him. I could only plead with my judge for mercy, even if I summon him and he respond.

[00:15:55] I do not believe he would give me a hearing. He would crush me with a storm and multiply my wounds for no reason. He would not let me catch my breath, but he would overwhelm me with misery.

[00:16:11] If it is a matter of strength, he is might. And if it is a matter of justice, who can challenge him? Even if I were innocent, my mouth would condemn me. If I was blameless, it will pronounce me guilty.

[00:16:29] Although I am blameless, I have no concern for myself. I despise my own life. It is all the same. That is why I say he destroys both the blameless and the wicked.

[00:16:45] When a scourge brings sudden death, he mocks the despair of the innocent. When a land falls in the hands of the wicked, he blonde blows his judges. If it is not he, then who?

[00:16:59] My days are sweeter than a rudiment. They fly away without a glimpse of joy. They skim past like boats, a papyrus, like ego swooping down on their prey. If I say I will forget my complaint, I will change my expression and smile.

[00:17:18] I still dread all my sufferings, for I know you would not hold me innocent. Since I am already found guilty, why should I struggle in vain?

[00:17:29] Even if I wash myself with soap and my hands would cleansing powder. You would plunge me into a slime pit so that even my clothes would detest me.

[00:17:44] So, Joe, he is talking to his talk. Thank you for joining him. He is talking to his talk. But he is not denouncing God. He is talking about him and what he think or his thoughts would be if God decides to let him play this without.

[00:18:05] He goes on to say, he is not a mere mortal like me that I might answer. Hell, that we might confront each other and court. If only there was someone to me, a between us, someone to bring us together, someone to remove God's rods for me so that his terror would frighten me no more.

[00:18:28] Then I will speak up without fear him. But as if we are now in stands for me, I cannot. So chapter 10 goes on and he continues. He says, I love my very life.

[00:18:44] Therefore, I will give free, rain to my complaint and speak out of the bitterness of my stone. How many of us do that? How many of us speak to God at a bitterness out of anger because he didn't do or say something or something didn't go our way.

[00:19:05] We didn't hear from him. We didn't get something that we feel like we were supposed to get. How many of us as Joe Bessant here? He said, I will speak bitterness out of my soul.

[00:19:21] He said, I will say to God, do not declare me guilty. But let me tell you what charges you have against me. Does it not please you to oppress me or to spurn the work of your hands? Why you smile on the plans of the wicked? Do you have eyes of flesh? Do you see as mortal eyes?

[00:19:48] Are your days like those of mortars or your years like those of strong man that you must search out my thoughts and probe after my sins?

[00:19:59] Though you know that I'm not guilty and that no one can rescue me from your hands. Your hands shaped me and they made me. Will you now turn and destroy me? Remember that you molded me like clay. You will now turn me to dust again. Will you now turn me to dust again? He's asking a question, but I want to back up a little bit before I forget my train of thought because as old people we forget I train of thought.

[00:20:31] The thing that got me here was he said, why do you smile on the plans of the wicked?

[00:20:42] And I think sometimes some of us get that twisted. God is not a God that punishes. Now he just ties his children. But that you gotta be how can I say this?

[00:20:57] I'm falling out of the wheel of God. My mother used to say it is better to know than not to know. It's better to know God's word than not to know his word.

[00:21:09] But if you don't know, how can you be judged or charged for something that you don't rightfully know? And I think a lot of us think that because we see people getting away with stuff that we know that's not right. We might know them personally.

[00:21:28] We might be a friend of family member. It could be even stranger. It could be people in our government. Things not going right. And it looks to us with the natural eye.

[00:21:41] The things are going great for them and we're working our hardest. We're doing the right thing. We're trying to be honest up right men and women. But we're trying to function in this world.

[00:21:53] But God already gave us what he wanted us to have. He told us, be not conformed to the world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

[00:22:03] We're temporarily here. And I think sometimes we forget that. We're just passing through, especially if you are Christian. You just pass and through.

[00:22:13] This is not your home, but why you hear. Why you hear? You be the best person that you can be. So we can't blame God when we see. My Bible tells me in Psalm 91, it tells me only what your eyes were you see the reward of the wicked.

[00:22:34] But we don't know God's plans for us. But I wanted to start right there and talk about that because Job said that. He said, you smile on the plans of the wicked.

[00:22:47] God is not in favor of the wicked crisis, not in favor of the things that we get people to do.

[00:22:53] But sometimes in our lives and in my grandmother used to say, if we don't go straight and turn our lives around and do as God has asked us to do.

[00:23:05] Things will happen in our life. And if we know God and we turn back around and go the way and get back on the path that God wants us to be on, we'll see those things slowly change. It's like, you know, when you put your hands in it.

[00:23:23] We're asking God for something, but then you start putting your hands in it because maybe it's not coming fast enough. Maybe he didn't answer that prayer of a new car or a new home or whatever the case may be.

[00:23:40] Did you ever stop to think that maybe he didn't answer it for a reason? Or maybe his no was not a no, but maybe it was just not right now. Or maybe he was working that thing out.

[00:23:54] Or maybe you had to go through a few more things in your life to see God's glory. Maybe you need to spend a little bit of time with him to know what his glory looks like.

[00:24:14] To know that God is not going to move on our time, but it's always going to be on his time and it's always going to be right. But as Job continues, he says, look, must you search out my faults and probe after my sin?

[00:24:33] So you know that I am not guilty. And as I read that last week, because I'm a little further in this, I thought about all the times that we can be accused of something that we're not guilty of.

[00:24:46] I thought about people that are in prison that have been accused of things that they're not guilty about. And served that time years taking away from them. But again, our ways and our thoughts are not God's ways and thoughts.

[00:25:03] We don't know why he do the things that he do, but we know this. Everything is for our good. No matter how bleak it seems, it's always for our good. But Job also says something that got me to think in last week.

[00:25:20] He said, remember, it was you that molded me like clay, where you'd now turn me to dust again. Do you not pour out like milk or curl me like cheese, clove me with skin and flesh and knit me together with bones?

[00:25:43] You gave me life and you showed me kindness. And in your providence, watch over my spirit. But this is what you can see in your heart, and I know that this was in your mind.

[00:26:00] If I send, would you be watching me or would you let my offence go unpunished? If I am guilty, what would I mean? Even if I am innocent, I cannot lift my head for I am full of shame and drowned in my flesh.

[00:26:21] If I hold my head high, you stop me like a lion. And again display your awesome power against me. You bring me new witnesses against me and increase my anger towards me. Your force comes against me way upon way.

[00:26:42] Why then did you bring me out of the womb? I wish I had died there before any of us all me. If only I have never come into being or been carried straight from the womb to the grave.

[00:26:59] Are you not my few days and are not my few days almost over? It's on a way for me so I can have a moment to enjoy before I go to the place of no return.

[00:27:13] To the land of gloom and other darkness, to the land of the deepest night and the other darkness. And this order where even the light is like dark. So here again, Job is doing what Job do. He's talking his talk. He's talking about he was never born.

[00:27:42] He's asking God in this last moments. Can I have a little bit of joy? Before I go, where I'm going to go? But what stuck out to me in this verse was he said,

[00:27:57] Even if I am innocent, I cannot live my head for I am full of shame and drowned in my flesh. And I want to think about that for a moment. How many of us have been there in our lifetime where we've had pity parties for ourselves?

[00:28:18] Because we thought God wouldn't listen, we thought God wouldn't answer in our prayer. Because it all goes back to this. It all goes back to this. How many of us sit in our mess even if even if we think it's not our mess,

[00:28:35] even if we're innocent, how many of us sit in it? And we have pity parties. How many of us do what the word tell us to do? To bless, bless this mess, bless it, Lord. Bless it, bless him, bless her, bless this job. Bless this build as do.

[00:28:56] How many of us do what the Bible tells us to do and speak those things as though they were. Because he told us again in his word, we're not here to be conform to this world. He said, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

[00:29:16] So even though we've got to go to these jobs, we've got to deal with the things that we did in life bills, our children, situations. We speak in, over our lives. What are we speaking over our lives? Are we speaking blessings?

[00:29:32] Are we speaking those things that we're going to in through in their very existence and having a pity party? And it's easy to do. But like anything else in life, I believe this. The same way you train yourself or someone trains you on a job

[00:29:53] is the same way you train yourself and God's word. And the first thing that you want to start doing is you want to start speaking positive things, no matter how it moves. I don't care if you sit there crying your eyes out behind some.

[00:30:07] Speak a blessing over it because when you start speaking blessings over your life, things start to change in your life. And then it's something that I'm talking about from experience. Because I had a hard head, my mother used to tell me all the time.

[00:30:22] She used to say, Victoria, you don't think anything can be done unless you do it. And she was a very spiritual woman. But she used to tell me, and if family took root, what she was saying when she said that.

[00:30:39] She was telling me, if I didn't do it, I didn't believe that it could be done. But I was walking around telling everybody that I love the Lord. I was walking around telling everybody that I could knock down the doors that I love the Lord.

[00:30:59] But I was believing in my own doings. How many of us still do on that as fellow men and women in Christ? Or how many of us have totally surrendered to God and take him at His word? How many of us have done that?

[00:31:20] Because you can't take God at His word and have a little bit of the world and a little bit of His word. You go for this thing. You don't have to go all the way.

[00:31:31] If you believe that God going paid at Bill or God going saved that son or daughter, you got to believe it with all your heart and you got to speak it. I don't care if Susie can come to you and say,

[00:31:50] I sing your son and your daughter in the street. Doing some things they were supposed to be doing. I'm praying for that child. You got to stand on the word of God and say, you know what? My son, my daughter has already been delivered

[00:32:04] and set free from that thing. My daughter is walking in the fullness of God. I'm walking in the fullness of God. So here, even though there's so much in this chapter that we could talk about, I can tell you what God gave me just from reading it.

[00:32:27] And His message that just flowed out of my mouth was blessings. Here, Job is cursing the day that He was born. He's done it all the way from the first incident all the way now. But should we be doing that?

[00:32:44] Or should we be watching God and continue in the praise him, continuing to speak blessings? So, we've heard Job and His pity party. But we've also heard from His friend, building. So now we go here from Zipur. And Zipur, His words were as such.

[00:33:14] Are all these words to go unanswered? Is this talker to be vindicated? Will your idol talk reduce others to silence? Will no one rebuk you when you mock? You say to God, my beliefs are flawless and I am pure in your sight.

[00:33:44] But oh, how I wish that God would speak that He would open up His lips against you and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom. For true wisdom has two sides. Know this. God has even forgotten some of your sins. Can you fan them the mysteries of God?

[00:34:07] Can you probe the limits of the Almighty? They are higher than a heavens above. What can you do? They are deeper than a depth below. What can you know? Their measure is longer than they are and wider than the sea.

[00:34:27] If He comes along and confines you in prison and conveys a court who can oppose him. Surely he recognized the severs. And when he sees evil does He not take note. So, Zipur, He's coming at Joe bit of holdy from where.

[00:34:53] He goes on to say He says, but the whittless can no more become wise than a wild donkey called can be born human. Yet if you devote your heart to Him and stretch out your hands to Him, if you put away the sin that is in your hand

[00:35:18] and allow no evil to dwell in your tent. Then, free of fault, you will lift up your face and you will stand firm and you without fear. You will surely forget your troubles. We're calling only as waters gone by. Life will be brighter than no day

[00:35:40] and darkness will become like morning. You will be secure because there is hope. And you will look about you and take your rest and safety. You will lie down with no one to make you afraid. And many will court your favor.

[00:36:02] But the eyes of the wicked will fail and escape will loom them. Their hope will become a dying gas. So, Zipur, He's coming out of a whole new and different bag. He's saying, look, how long are we going to have to listen to you basically, Makah, Tauk Yutauk?

[00:36:36] Let me tell you something. He's the youngest of the three, Zipur. And, unfortunately, my commentary tells me that he uses some harsh language against Job. Yet, he also accused Job of babbling on and being ridiculous. He said, it's time out for, and this is in my terms,

[00:37:16] for all this worthless and stupid talk that we some cons can do as people. It's time out for the pity for him. He even goes as far as to say that God, He chose to overlook some of your sins.

[00:37:44] And I believe God does, as well as asking him for his forgiveness every single day. I believe God does overlook some of our sins. I also believe that he said in his word, I bless the justice well as the unjust. Thank you, thank you so much.
