[00:01:10] beautiful Wednesday morning

[00:01:12] that God has decided to bless us in on this day.

[00:01:17] Why don't you go ahead and help me give him some praise

[00:01:19] this morning.

[00:01:20] Thank you for waking you up this morning.

[00:01:22] Thank him for breathing his breath into your bodies on today. Heavenly Father,

[00:01:28] we thank you this morning. We come boldly, but humbly to the

[00:01:33] throne, O Heavenly Father. And we thank you this morning for

[00:01:37] every breath that we are breathing right now, Heavenly Father.

[00:01:41] Heavenly Father, we thank you for Your grace and Your mercy because we know that it is new

[00:01:48] every day for the God.

[00:01:49] We thank You for keeping Your arms around us

[00:01:53] so Heavenly Father.

[00:01:54] Heavenly Father, we know that You're able

[00:01:57] to do all things in our lives today, Father God.

[00:02:00] We thank You for the fellowship, Father God.

[00:02:02] Those that have ears, let them hear, Father God. Those that have ears, let them hear Father God.

[00:02:06] Those that have eyes, let them see Father God. And when the Father let us keep our hearts and our

[00:02:12] minds steadfast on your word. On this day, amen everybody, amen. So guys, welcome, welcome, welcome

[00:02:23] to the show. I thought I'd start off this morning doing something a little bit different.

[00:02:29] This is Women's History Month.

[00:02:31] And I have been trying every since last month to incorporate a little bit of women of the Bible into my segments. I was going to start for Black History Month

[00:02:46] and I thought better of it being that March 1st kicked off Women's History Month and I have this book

[00:02:55] and the book is called Women of the Bible for Colored Women. Now it does not mean that everybody that I'm about to read about are colored women but this book was written for colored women. So it starts

[00:03:14] off telling us about the different women that are in the Bible. So I'm gonna read

[00:03:19] one I'm gonna try to read one on a daily basis throughout the month of March.

[00:03:27] You know, I'm a little late, but better late than never.

[00:03:32] So it starts off talking about Eve.

[00:03:36] Eve, the first African woman, the story of Eve is relevant to the women of color for

[00:03:43] several reasons.

[00:03:45] It is no secret that women of color have rained throughout history as the first women to do

[00:03:51] many things in God's world.

[00:03:56] The creation of Eve, the first woman of color, occurred on the sixth day of creation.

[00:04:03] In this chapter of Genesis,

[00:04:05] the story of the creation of E

[00:04:06] demonstrates the importance of men and women

[00:04:10] contemplating one another,

[00:04:12] supporting one another,

[00:04:15] complimenting one another, sorry,

[00:04:17] and supporting one another

[00:04:19] and empowering one another.

[00:04:21] When women of color develop and nurture relationships,

[00:04:26] whether it's intimate, professional, family, or social,

[00:04:31] we must remember the importance of embracing

[00:04:34] and empowering throughout the role as a helper.

[00:04:38] See Genesis 220.

[00:04:41] I define helper not only in the sense of a husband, wife, teen, or a male female relationship,

[00:04:50] but also exclusively from a biblical stance.

[00:04:55] Women helping women, women helping men, women helping children, women helping the community,

[00:05:01] and women helping others who may or may not be like them.

[00:05:07] Eve's story has also shown the challenges of listening and hearing God when God speaks to us.

[00:05:15] When we fail to hear God's voice, we must move.

[00:05:20] We sometimes move in the wrong direction and we commit sin.

[00:05:25] Eve's first sin when she listened to the serpent instead of God.

[00:05:30] There will be times when we listen to the wrong voice,

[00:05:34] but it is important to remember that we can always go to God and seek forgiveness.

[00:05:40] There is no need to hide from God.

[00:05:43] God wants us to confess our

[00:05:45] wrongs to Him. In fact, Genesis 3, God asked Adam and Eve, where are you?

[00:05:54] The question is, where are we in our relationship to God?

[00:06:00] Should it ever be before us? The story of Eve sure among women of color that God was created.

[00:06:08] Creole has created each of us in his image.

[00:06:11] We know that God has empowered and inspired many women of color to be pioneers,

[00:06:17] to be helpers and to be women who listen to the voice of God.

[00:06:23] And this book was written by urban spirits.

[00:06:31] I don't get to take any credit for this reading, but I'll try to read a little bit out of

[00:06:37] it to start our show for women's history month.

[00:06:40] I've been reading it myself here and there over the years and I found it quite,

[00:06:46] quite, quite interesting. So guys, let's move on today to Joshua chapter 3 and it reads,

[00:06:55] Then Joshua rose early in the morning and they set out from Arcadia Grove and came to the Jordan.

[00:07:02] He and all the children of Israel enlarged and lodged there before they crossed over.

[00:07:07] So it was, after three days that the officers went through the camp,

[00:07:11] they commanded the people saying,

[00:07:13] when you see the Ark of Covenant of the Lord, your God,

[00:07:17] and the priests, the Levites, bearing it,

[00:07:20] then you shall set out from your place and go after it.

[00:07:24] Yet there shall be a space between you and it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it. Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about 2,000 cubics by measure.

[00:07:32] Do not come near it that you may know the way by which you must go,

[00:07:37] for you have not passed this way before.

[00:07:41] And Joshua said to the people, sanctify yourselves for tomorrow,

[00:07:45] the Lord will do wonders among you.

[00:07:49] Then Joshua spoke to the priest saying,

[00:07:51] take up the ark of the covenant

[00:07:53] and cross over before the people.

[00:07:55] So they took up the ark of the covenant

[00:07:58] and went before the people.

[00:08:00] And the Lord said to Joshua,

[00:08:01] this day I will begin to exalt you

[00:08:04] in the sight of all Israel,

[00:08:06] that they may know that I, that as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.

[00:08:12] You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, when you have come to the

[00:08:21] edge of the water of Jordan, you shall stand in the Lord. And I will say it by this you shall know that the living God

[00:08:25] is among you and that he will

[00:08:27] without fail drive out from

[00:08:30] before you the Canaanites and

[00:08:32] the high tights and the high

[00:08:34] fights and parasites and the

[00:08:37] gershine and the gershine and

[00:08:39] the gershine and the gershine

[00:08:41] and the gershine and the gershine

[00:08:43] and the gershine and the gershine and the gershine and the gershine and the you the Canaanites and the high

[00:08:45] tights and the high fights and Perez sites and the Gersha

[00:08:50] gersha gashha lights and the Amorites and the Jebusites

[00:08:55] behold the heart of the covenant of the Lord and all of all

[00:09:00] the earth is crossing over before you into the Jordan.

[00:09:06] Now therefore take yourselves 12 men from the tribe of Israel,

[00:09:10] one man from every tribe, and as shall come to pass

[00:09:15] as soon as the souls of your feet,

[00:09:17] as soon as the souls of the feet of the priest

[00:09:24] and who bear the ark of the feet of the priest and who bear the

[00:09:25] ock of the Lord. The Lord of our earth shall rest in the

[00:09:32] waters of the Jordan that the waters of the Jordan shall be

[00:09:36] cut off the waters that come down from the upstream and they

[00:09:41] shall stand as a heap. So it was when the people set out from their camp

[00:09:49] to cross over the Jordan with the priests bearing the Ark of the Covenant before the people.

[00:09:55] And as those who bore the Ark came to the Jordan and the feet of the priests who bore the Ark

[00:10:03] and the feet of the priests who bore the art dripped to the edge of the waters.

[00:10:06] For the Jordan overflowed all its banks

[00:10:09] during the whole time of the harvest,

[00:10:12] that the water which came down from the upstreams

[00:10:15] stood still

[00:10:19] and rose in a heap very far away at the Adam,

[00:10:26] the city that is beside Zaire Tan. So the waters that went down into the sea of

[00:10:33] the Arabah, the Salty failed and were cut off. And the people

[00:10:40] crossed over opposite Jericho. Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant

[00:10:47] of the Lord stood firm on dry ground

[00:10:51] in the midst of the Jordan

[00:10:53] and all is real crossed over on dry ground

[00:10:57] until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.

[00:11:02] Guys, this reminds me of when our Heavenly Father,

[00:11:11] when God brought them out of Egypt and the Red Sea,

[00:11:17] part of the Red Sea for them to get away from Pharaoh.

[00:11:21] God is still doing some amazing things for his people. And he told them early

[00:11:27] on that every place that the souls of their feetIV, I mean not my NIV, my new King James

[00:11:49] this morning. So we're gonna go on over to the commentary and we're gonna talk

[00:11:53] a little bit about what has already taken place since we moved on over to

[00:11:59] Joshua. So chapter 1 we talked about how the Lord spoke to Joshua and told him that

[00:12:08] now that Moses is dead, that they had to prepare to cross over to the Jordan. My commentary

[00:12:15] tells me it's important to remember the past. We should appreciate the good and learn from the bad. But in the walk of faith, you cannot live on nostalgia.

[00:12:28] You can't live with your eyes in the rear view mirror of your life.

[00:12:34] You've got to move forward.

[00:12:36] So although the people were led out of Egypt into the wilderness and they spent so much time with Moses.

[00:12:47] And my commentary tells me this is the end

[00:12:50] of the 40 years that they spent

[00:12:53] running around in the wilderness as well as,

[00:12:58] it also goes on to say,

[00:13:01] it talks about verse three through six in Joshua chapter one, where the Lord their God

[00:13:12] had told them that every place where the souls of their foot treaded, no one will be able

[00:13:17] to stand against them.

[00:13:18] He said, be strong and courageous. In other words, he reminded Joshua that the promised land and

[00:13:28] the inheritance of Israel had already been given to them. That didn't mean however,

[00:13:36] that they would have to just sit around and do nothing and wait for the local inhabitants to simply abandon Canaan for them,

[00:13:46] but actions of faith were required to make

[00:13:51] literally what God had already made legal.

[00:13:55] The enemies of God would resist, but they would fail.

[00:14:01] And that would provide Israel with the opportunity

[00:14:04] to continue on.

[00:14:06] So he encourages them to be strong and courageous.

[00:14:11] Guys, we know that God is sovereignly in control.

[00:14:17] He's not going to make promises that he can't keep, but we must obey them. Anything that he says in this

[00:14:26] word, we must obey him so that we can move on and be guaranteed

[00:14:34] is a guarantee that our Heavenly Father would do what he said he

[00:14:41] would do for us. And I have to keep saying this, it may not look or come the way that you think it's going

[00:14:48] to come.

[00:14:50] But he will do what he said.

[00:14:52] And we have to remember also as the people.

[00:14:57] You know, we're not supposed to think about what happened yesterday.

[00:15:02] We're not even supposed to try to disciple what our future looked like now

[00:15:07] We can put some things in step we can put some things in place

[00:15:14] But however

[00:15:17] We always want to say if it be in God's will

[00:15:22] Because he knows what's best for us if it be in God's will because he knows what's best for us if it be in God's will. And I try

[00:15:29] to keep that before me on a daily basis. God, if it is if it's in your will, let it be done.

[00:15:36] If it's not, let me be okay with it. And it goes on to say in my commentary,

[00:15:44] And it goes on to say in my commentary, consider a parent who pays for a child's education.

[00:15:49] If the child does not go to class or study,

[00:15:51] it is not the promise of the free education

[00:15:54] that will inevitably fail.

[00:15:57] The problem is that the promise was not embraced.

[00:16:03] God's process for every believer mirrors his process for Israel. He

[00:16:09] offers deliverance, development and destiny, deliverance and salvation, which happens when

[00:16:17] we trust in Jesus Christ. Development is the process of sanctification. It is like our time in the wilderness as we experience God's trials to test and grow

[00:16:31] our faith.

[00:16:34] Destiny is what God has planned for us, eternal life and heaven.

[00:16:39] The reward that comes with it is God's promises are a sure thing,

[00:16:45] but much of the timing depends on us.

[00:16:49] Will we say yes to deliverance?

[00:16:51] Will we be willing to grow in our faith

[00:16:54] and will we commit to the living in the light of eternity?

[00:17:00] We are called to pursue God's promises,

[00:17:03] reaching out to touch the heavens through the actions of faith,

[00:17:07] while our feet still walk on this broken ground.

[00:17:12] I think that says a mouthful.

[00:17:15] I'm always talking about going through tests and trials.

[00:17:20] I'm always speaking about how that builds up that endurance.

[00:17:26] And once we go through those tests, build up that endurance that builds our faith.

[00:17:32] I was quickly reminded as I walk in my own faith walk, you know, guys, none of us, and

[00:17:38] I know you guys have heard this before, none of us have arrived.

[00:17:42] But I only know one person that came and done everything that God commanded his people to do long time ago.

[00:17:50] And he did that for us.

[00:17:52] But none of us have arrived as long as you walk in and fighting this good fight.

[00:17:59] Staying encouraged believing God for the things that he promised us to come.

[00:18:04] We're all going to have trials.

[00:18:06] We're all going to have tests.

[00:18:08] Some of us can go through life and it seems like we're cruising through life

[00:18:12] or an easy street and then bam.

[00:18:15] Something will happen out of the blue.

[00:18:19] And your whole life seems like it's been turned upside down or disheveled.

[00:18:25] I have that testimony myself.

[00:18:28] I'm not going to go into telling that testimony, but I've told it throughout my seasons on

[00:18:34] my show.

[00:18:35] If you haven't caught the show, head on over to Spots Fire and catch it from season one

[00:18:39] all the way up to season five.

[00:18:42] But that testimony happened to me. Things were just seeming like they were

[00:18:46] just going so so well. And then, bam, when it hit, it hit. At that particular time,

[00:18:52] I didn't know that I was going through my task. I didn't know that I was going through my trial.

[00:18:57] I didn't know that it was going to build endurance. And I definitely did not have faith.

[00:19:05] endurance, and I definitely did not have faith.

[00:19:07] At this point in my life, I wasn't walking the walk that I'm walking now,

[00:19:12] but I knew God, I knew I had only Father Jesus Christ,

[00:19:16] but I wasn't putting it in for practice.

[00:19:19] I wasn't fellowshiping with my other fellow Christian

[00:19:25] people, brothers and sisters. fellowship in with my other fellow Christian

[00:19:29] people, brothers and sisters. I wasn't doing anything, any of that stuff.

[00:19:31] I was going on living life, much as most of us do today.

[00:19:37] But when things start to fall apart for me,

[00:19:41] I knew how to reach back and call on the name of Jesus.

[00:19:47] And when I did that, I can look up later on, it's been about nine years going on 10 now

[00:19:55] that I can see that everything happened in my life for a reason. Maybe sometimes I think it was God's way of getting my

[00:20:08] attention because he knew that I knew him. I had a connection with him from

[00:20:13] childhood. Maybe it was to build my endurance, the test, the trials, because I'm right here sitting in faith today.

[00:20:27] Now, with faith, we know that faith is the substance of things hoped for, but the evidence

[00:20:35] of things not seen.

[00:20:38] Does not mean that sometimes your faith is not going to waver because it does. It does, you're not gonna be human if it doesn't.

[00:20:48] However, it's not supposed to.

[00:20:53] We're supposed to stay seated.

[00:20:55] But I'm talking to my newbie, Christians,

[00:20:59] my new faith and my new believers.

[00:21:03] This walk, it gets easier day by day minute by minute step by step

[00:21:10] Don't give up if you started you don't have anything to turn back to as my season people will tell me

[00:21:17] We're gonna turn back to

[00:21:19] If you if God is giving you another opportunity to move on

[00:21:24] In life,

[00:21:26] what are you going to turn back to?

[00:21:29] So today was a hard day.

[00:21:31] You get pick yourself up, you're touched yourself off and you move on.

[00:21:37] I constantly want to remind, especially my new Christian fellow system, brothers

[00:21:44] and Christ,

[00:21:45] the wall when you first begin.

[00:21:48] It's not like a magical spell is gonna be placed on you

[00:21:53] and you're just gonna stop doing everything,

[00:21:55] but you strive every day to change something different

[00:22:00] in your life.

[00:22:03] For the pleasing of your heavenly Father and to live a better life, for the pleasing of your heavenly Father

[00:22:07] and to live a better life while you're down here on earth,

[00:22:10] to change your soul, your spirit

[00:22:13] so that you can have eternal life.

[00:22:16] And that's what our commentary is telling us here.

[00:22:21] As it moves on, it goes on to tell us

[00:22:24] that next God said,

[00:22:26] observe carefully the whole instruction my servant, Moses, command to choose,

[00:22:32] so that you will have success wherever you go.

[00:22:36] Now success for Israel then involved obtaining their inheritance to do this. They had to stay tightly tethered to God's word.

[00:22:50] Same thing here for us today.

[00:22:53] We gotta stand tight.

[00:22:56] We gotta stand on God's word.

[00:22:59] Then a debt does not mean

[00:23:02] that you gotta walk around what a bunch of scripts

[00:23:04] you're coming out of your mouth

[00:23:06] every day, but it's good to have a word to hold on to.

[00:23:10] And whatever God has etched across the tables

[00:23:12] of your heart for that day.

[00:23:15] Sometimes you'll be driving along or walking along

[00:23:19] or whatever it is you're doing in your daily day

[00:23:21] and gotta play something, a scripture,

[00:23:24] something that you're read.

[00:23:26] I'm not one of those and I'm making funny when I say this. I'm not a bible scholar. I don't have

[00:23:34] a whole lot of scripture that I can just pull out at the drop of my hat. but I have enough in me that I can remember exactly where to go find it.

[00:23:47] And God's word, I have enough in me where I can capture maybe a whole passage

[00:23:53] or a sentence here or a sentence there.

[00:23:56] Whatever stands out in that particular moment when I'm reading, that I feel

[00:24:03] like applies to me.

[00:24:09] moment when I'm reading that I feel like applies to me. One of my favorite passages in the Bible is Psalms 91. I love it because he says in his word he who dwells in his secret place

[00:24:19] shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

[00:24:25] You know, that part right there, it does something for my spirit as I speak those words out

[00:24:33] in existence.

[00:24:35] I know that God has a hedge of protection around and about me.

[00:24:41] I know that favor surrounds me like a shield. I know that I went to my place, to

[00:24:48] my secret dwelling place. And I spent some time talking to God whether I was pouring

[00:24:54] at my heart, whether I was just thanking Him or praising Him or whether I was praying

[00:25:01] for someone else in their situation. I took time out of my day before I got started in my day.

[00:25:10] The talk to the most important person in my life.

[00:25:13] And that is our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ.

[00:25:16] And we have to do that.

[00:25:18] We have to do that.

[00:25:20] For me, I found that if I don't talk to God before I get started on my day, I can tell

[00:25:31] a difference.

[00:25:33] Everything starts to shift.

[00:25:35] And it's not for the good.

[00:25:37] It seems like everything in my life ends up stumbling or falling apart that particular

[00:25:44] day.

[00:25:45] But when I have that covering of the Almighty,

[00:25:51] because I spent time before I did anything else,

[00:25:56] and my husband will tell you,

[00:25:58] before I say good morning to him,

[00:26:00] I got to come in my room and I got to say good morning

[00:26:03] to my Heavenly Father.

[00:26:05] It just makes my day go better.

[00:26:07] It gives me insight.

[00:26:09] And then I ask them, Lord, what can I do for you today?

[00:26:14] Ask yourself, what can you do for your Heavenly Father today?

[00:26:19] So as we move on, we found out yesterday,

[00:26:23] we talked about Rahab,

[00:26:26] but as my commentary explains it,

[00:26:28] and as I got to reading this,

[00:26:30] I kind of got a little giddy, I said,

[00:26:32] you know, I didn't explain it that way yesterday,

[00:26:35] but God gives us everything different.

[00:26:38] It talks about the faith of Rahab.

[00:26:43] And it says, from my commentary, the acquisitions of the Promised Land began

[00:26:50] with Joshua dispatching two spies to determine the best military approach to use in the days

[00:26:58] ahead. In particular, they were to scout out the city of Jericho. The first major city of the people would encounter or

[00:27:09] pardon the crossing of the Jordan.

[00:27:13] When the spies entered Jericho, they chose to hide in the red

[00:27:18] light district and stay with a prostitute named Rahab.

[00:27:23] It could be that Rahab was running an in for travelers,

[00:27:29] my commentary says.

[00:27:31] If so, stand there would have helped the spies to look

[00:27:36] in cuspis ink.

[00:27:37] I can't say that guys.

[00:27:39] I get tongue time.

[00:27:40] I didn't even go live.

[00:27:43] So sometimes I get tongue-tied.

[00:27:48] But moving on, it says importantly, these men were in town for a righteous purpose and

[00:27:55] not for wickedness.

[00:27:58] Somehow the king of Jericho learned the presence of the Israelite men within the gates of his

[00:28:03] city and demanded that Rayab turn them in but Rahab put him off by engaging in some

[00:28:10] righteous risky business she hid the men and lied to the authorities. But this is

[00:28:20] her fate. It goes on to say in my commentary that Rahab's actions in this chapter

[00:28:26] raises a significant ethical question.

[00:28:30] When is it acceptable to lie?

[00:28:36] Rahab was confronted with the two sinful options lying or

[00:28:43] lying or abating the execution of God's

[00:28:48] represent the rest representatives. And she chose the

[00:28:53] option that will bring the most glory to God, protecting his

[00:28:57] people. She then told the spies that Jericho had heard of how

[00:29:02] the Lord had miraculously protected the Israelites from their enemies and that therefore

[00:29:08] the people were terrified. In this, she encouraged them. Yet it

[00:29:14] is clear by what we see in this story that neither the king nor

[00:29:18] his people were planning to surrender to the plans of the

[00:29:22] Lord regarding their homeland.

[00:29:26] Rahab was different though.

[00:29:28] She confessed that the Lord is the God of heavens above and on Earth below.

[00:29:35] And she showed kindness to his people.

[00:29:38] In other words, she expressed personal faith in the truth of God's ability to work on the behalf of those

[00:29:46] aligned with him and act on it. This required her to shelter God's people and work against

[00:29:54] his enemies in much the same way that the Hebrew wives had frustrated the murderous plans of Pharaoh in Exodus.

[00:30:07] Trusting that Israel would successfully conquer Jericho,

[00:30:13] Rahad hid the spies and asked him to spare her and her family on the day when they sacked the city.

[00:30:23] when they sacked the city. This they promised to do alone

[00:30:26] as she tied a scarlet court in the window of her house,

[00:30:32] which was on the wall in the city.

[00:30:36] If she did that, both she and her family would be saved.

[00:30:41] Remarkable, remarkable through Jericho's walls was soon fall down this woman's house that was constructed

[00:30:51] within them was left standing.

[00:30:55] And Rahab submitted in faith to God's program.

[00:30:59] As a result, she came under the covering of Israel and also did her family.

[00:31:09] When the spies returned to Joshua and reported everything, they were confident that the Lord

[00:31:14] had handed Ken a knight over to them. Throughout our lifetime, the devil plans to do work.

[00:31:25] He does things and he makes us believe and see things, think things, act things, make

[00:31:36] our own plans. I was reminded this week that God can use anybody he wants to use.

[00:31:50] We're all going to be personally attacked.

[00:31:55] We all have to go through the same thing that I lowered and saved you.

[00:31:58] Jesus Christ did it seems as though we're always fighting as Christians

[00:32:04] to minister the gospel to God's people.

[00:32:08] We're all God's people.

[00:32:10] I've said it before and I'll say it again.

[00:32:13] God loves all of us, all of us.

[00:32:18] It's the sin that he hates.

[00:32:22] He said, love what I love and hate what I hate in his words. He also

[00:32:28] tells us in his word that whatever we lose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

[00:32:35] Whatever we bond on earth will be bond in heaven. But his law would never change.

[00:32:47] His ways, his thoughts for us being obedient.

[00:32:50] That's all he wants us to do is walk in obedience, walk in love.

[00:32:55] That raises us up to that standard of being the righteous men and women of God that he's

[00:33:00] called us to be. It also tells me that it does not matter who God chooses to use.

[00:33:11] We as people have to be okay with that. We have to be okay with who God chooses to use for his glory. He don't need our assistance in picking people that he wants to use

[00:33:31] to bless someone else or to carry out his plans. And we have to be okay with that.

[00:33:38] Right here we see this woman with this background. She plays a significant part in God's kingdom,

[00:33:45] plans, and it cannot be broken. He's already promised this to his people.

[00:33:53] In God's Word, he says he is a man that he cannot lie. He said,

[00:33:57] having an herb shop pass away before his words will return to him void.

[00:34:08] words will return to him void. And we must remember that when we're rising up against the plans that God has for his people, we're rising up against God. And

[00:34:17] if you are a believer, then you stand still and you hold your ground. If you're

[00:34:24] not a believer, it is simple as this, for whether you're Christian or not a Christian,

[00:34:30] we all know right from wrong.

[00:34:34] We all get in our feelings about things.

[00:34:39] Set your feelings aside.

[00:34:41] Sometimes it can be hard to do.

[00:34:43] Some want to make you just mad.

[00:34:45] So mad you just want to act on it.

[00:34:47] You will say something or you will do something

[00:34:50] that is not pleasing to God.

[00:34:54] The good thing that you have on your side

[00:34:56] is you can repent.

[00:34:59] Be of good courage.

[00:35:00] Go back and straighten that thing out

[00:35:03] and follow God's plan. Because whether you want to or not, whatever his

[00:35:12] will is, it will get done.

[00:35:17] So you might as well follow the program, because you're fighting

[00:35:21] against yourself, you're not fighting against God.

[00:35:26] And he ain't gonna go around you. He gonna go through you. He might even use you too.

[00:35:33] For his glory, maybe to elevate someone else you just never know. So it's best to do the

[00:35:41] simple thing in life. We all know right from wrong.

[00:35:45] We all make mistakes.

[00:35:47] If we have a conscious, our conscious will convict us,

[00:35:52] the Holy Spirit will convict us

[00:35:54] and we'll wanna make that thing right.

[00:35:57] One step out of love is one step out of the will of God.

[00:36:03] But also doing things that we know that are not right or

[00:36:08] pleasing until I heavenly Father.

[00:36:12] We'll have to pay for it one day and maybe nobody saw you.

[00:36:18] But God saw you.

[00:36:21] And he is our Heavenly Father.

[00:36:25] He will chastise us as well as bless us.

[00:36:30] With that being said, please some blessings to you all until Friday, Friday we got amazing

[00:36:37] guests coming up.

[00:36:38] She's going to tell her testimony.

[00:36:40] We can work with Jamie to the show Friday afternoon.

[00:36:43] She'll be in the building as well as guys.

[00:36:47] Don't forget, if you can't do anything else today, give somebody

[00:36:50] a kind word, but a hot meal goes a very long way.
