[00:03:02] Heavenly Father, as we go about our on you guys. unexpectedly, I have to tell you that yesterday, we had some technical difficulties over here I know I haven't mentioned that this month. I kind of sort of did and didn't. I have this book and it's called the Biblical Women in the Bible.
[00:05:41] And it's not my writing, but it's a 3. This is in the words of the Say in this matter. Then he goes on, God did meet with Balaam, essentially putting a message in his mouth for Balaak, who standing there by his burnt offering was all his officials of Moab, waiting for the prophets to return.
[00:08:20] Then Balaam delivered the first of his four poetic messages
[00:08:24] or oracles of blessings of Israel. but look, you have only blessed them. To this, Balaam could only reply, shouldn't I say exactly what the Lord puts in my mouth? Now that should have been the end of Balaam's bad idea, but the point at which he let the matter go.
[00:09:41] But he wasn't ready to give up.
[00:09:43] Surely the money he had promised the prophet mouth. The donkey saved Balaam's life. And angel told him, listen, if it wasn't for me, Tron, to turn you away. If it wasn't for the donkey, I could go on and on and on. So let's jump on over and talk about Balaam's second message to Balaam. Then Balaam said to him, and we're numbers chapter 23 guys. [00:12:26] Then Balaam said to him, I rise, be like, listen, hear me son of Zippur. God is not human that he should lie. And we've all heard that guys. God is not a man that he should lie. He is not a God that he should lie. Everything that he said in his word, it stands, it stands.
[00:13:43] Not by human being that he should change his mind.
[00:13:47] He's not gonna change his mind, guys. in of Israel, see what God has done. The people rise like a lioness. They arise themselves like a lion that does not rest still. It devours its prey and drinks the blood of victims. Then Baylax said to Baylam, neither curse them.

[00:20:23] especially if you walk in with God,
[00:20:25] especially if he's your friend. God that in my actions, He stops me in my tracks. He sends that angel to stop me from doing that thing, that He knows that's going to get me in hot water, that's going to get me in trouble. And we all should be grateful for that insight.
[00:22:42] that thing stayed on me, guys.
[00:22:45] From the time we left
[00:22:50] to the time I got back home, all I could do was come into my secret dwelling place
[00:22:55] and cry out to God.
[00:22:56] And I did not know what that was about.
[00:22:58] My husband said to me, as I got ready to pull off

[00:23:03] he said, I don't feel comfortable doing here in this chapter with his people. Balaam used to greet. My commentary tells me he's used to his own type of sorcery. But God uses him for his glory.
[00:24:22] He uses him for his glory. He consulted God. I don't know if y'all called that a few days ago when we the Israelites. He couldn't. He couldn't because his powers were bonded by God. His speech was bonded. That's what my Matthew Humbry tells me that he couldn't use his own magical skills.
[00:27:03] It also told me that God is sonrantly in control
[00:27:07] of the divine power. When it comes to tear a card, spiritual rituals, God is all the insight that you need. When you have him deep down on the inside of you and you are obedient to his word, he's
[00:28:21] going to open up that small our breastplate of righteousness. Put on our helmet of salvation, gird our waste with the truth. Should I feet with the peace of gospel?
[00:29:42] And all else fails, pick up our sword in. He said it in his word, command it of me. Command it of me. He says in his word that his thoughts are higher above
[00:31:03] anything that we could possibly imagine for ourselves. Whatever you're asking and believing God for today, ask Him once and leave it alone. Leave it right there at the altar, right there and begin to thank Him for what He's already done. That's what my heart tells me. Stand on God's work. We're living in a town where we got to fight. We got to fight everybody so unsure about this person, this thing,
[00:33:41] this place. It is not our job. If you are a child of God. which it is something to boast about, if you're doing it in the right way. But most of us hold on to that. Oh, God said here, prepare the table in the presence of my enemies. He did say that, but he also said, he'll knock my head with oil. And surely my cup will run it over. See, I like that part.
[00:35:01] I like that part.
[00:35:02] I like all of it, but I like that part
[00:35:04] because I know he promised me something
[00:35:07] and God's promises never fail. else for someone, a calm word calls nothing. A hot meal goes even further. But spend some time in your word. Arm yourself with something to fight with. Stop fighting with this, the tongue.
[00:36:22] The tongue is the most powerful tool we have on our body and sometimes it can I don't want to botch up your name, so I'm gonna say, but God, thank you so much. I appreciate that.
