But you know, I'm going to read a bit of his word this morning and we just going to let the Holy Spirit guide us and do what the Holy Spirit needs to do in our lives on this day. So listen, guys,
[00:06:42] commentary has to say about it. Because he mentions in chapter 24,
[00:06:45] he gives his view of what Balaam saw
[00:06:49] when he looked down on Israel.
[00:06:50] He said, through looking down Israel as a Nordic city of tents,
[00:06:56] he pictured Israel as a beautiful land of abundance
[00:06:59] and a prosperity.
[00:07:01] He also referred to Israel as a kingdom,
[00:07:04] even though their first kingdom
[00:08:06] 16, we hadn't got right there yet, but we will, that at Balaam's advice, the media and night women, incited the Israel's to unfaithfulness against the Lord and people
[00:08:13] or the people or incident.
[00:08:16] And later, the rising of the bowed down to worship to their gods. The Lord had protected his against him. The Lord said to Moses, take all the leaders of these people, kill them and expose them in broad daylight

[00:15:03] And that goes on to about two or three more pages. Joshua is to succeed Moses. And we're gonna go into how Moses is gonna prepare Joshua, what God has led and said him to do. We're gonna tell you how they get there because now we're beginning to see what God said
[00:16:21] in his word, in his word, he did say
[00:16:26] when they were in the wilderness He does not get to enter because he was disobedient. He was disobedient when he struck that rock instead of spoke to the rock. But I'm here to tell you, we serve a mighty gracious God. Anything that he has in us to do,
[00:17:41] anything that he's put on the inside of us,
[00:17:44] a job that he has commissioned us to do, at on Wednesday and possibly tomorrow, just depending on how the day goes. Simply because I wanna meditate on this word. I have gotten into a habit of meditating on what God gives me to say.
[00:19:00] And to be quite honest with you,
[00:19:02] I read it over on Friday and I made some notes.
[00:19:07] I wanna refresh her. some of us going fast and just getting yourself right with God. And I want to touch on that a little bit this morning too, about fasting. And there's so many different fast that we can find. It's a couple of different fasts. I'm going to say so many. Let me choose my words carefully here.
[00:20:20] There are different fasts that we can align ourselves
[00:20:24] in the Bible.
[00:20:25] You got the Daniel fast.
[00:20:27] You got Isaiah. go into it. God, Holy Spirit, help me with the right word. Sombre. We're to wash our faces and go into it with wanting to spend time with God. Not going into it begging for things, but to build our endurance, to build our faith,
[00:21:43] spending time with God so that we can meditate on that word because when I first started my walk, all I heard was fasting, fasting, fasting. And I wanted to do it because I heard my church talking about it, the church was gonna go on fast and I did it and I did not finish one of my fasts. I felt horrible, I mean, I broke down in tears
[00:23:01] because I could not make it through what I promised God.
[00:23:05] And I had to learn back then, things out there, give God something of value to you. I heard someone say in the last couple of weeks, and, you know, I don't like to piggyback off of anybody else's son or man or message, but the message that he gave at a two day conference
[00:24:22] was so eye opening for me. And he said, you know, you can find different tasks in your world if you go back to the back of your Bible and just look up fasting. You can read over what it is that you want to do. Make sure you're doing it with a pure heart because that's the time that you need to spend. Making God your friend. I don't
[00:25:42] think that I know anyone that's walking this boat that don't We like to clean up around other people's door steps. But we gotta turn that mirror back on our scale and let God show us what's really in our house. Meditate on his word night and day. Why you go out through that path? Add extra things to it. Add some gospel music.

[00:27:05] while you're reading.
[00:28:05] really long just because my church is staying, we're fasting in this now. If I know I don't have the strength or the endurance to do it, then I may want to sit
[00:28:12] that one out.
[00:28:13] Because this, that time for you and God, you can pick any day of the week, any day of
[00:28:19] the year that you want to spend time.
[00:28:21] But I want to, I want you just to know that would change her life and she pack up and be living there and helping in my life that I can get a lesson out of reading the whole
[00:31:05] for the day. He needs us, rams in the bush, to rise up and take our right of faith business,
[00:32:24] to help someone lean on each other, to administer this word of God.
[00:32:26] I like to call it a coming with a whole team. He has reached out to other people under his leadership. He is coming with his other non-churches, his building. The word is getting out, it's just getting out. I don't know, guys. God is going to do this overflow thing. It's just going to be overwhelming. You don't want to miss it. 8M and PM services.
