[00:00:42] beautiful, beautiful Friday morning that God has decided to wake us up in

[00:00:49] Let's go ahead and give God some praise Right where you at, right where you're sitting

[00:00:56] Right where you're laying, right where you're standing

[00:01:00] Let's go ahead and let them know that you'll love them

[00:01:04] That you'll never leave them, that you'll never forsake them

[00:01:08] Let's go ahead and give him some praise Heavenly Father, we come to you right now in the name

[00:01:17] of Jesus We thank you this morning We thank you this morning

[00:01:25] You're breathing your breath into our bodies, O Lord

[00:01:30] Heavenly Father, we come humbly but boldly to the throne, O Lord

[00:01:35] Cast in all our cares upon you this morning

[00:01:40] Heavenly Father, we come to the throne with grace and thanksgiving

[00:01:45] On our lips, Father God, in our hearts, O heavenly Father

[00:01:50] We just bless your name right now this morning, Lord

[00:01:54] We thank you for all that you've done, all that you will do, all that you have done

[00:02:02] Heavenly Father, we thank you for keeping your hands around us, Father God

[00:02:10] We thank you this morning, O heavenly Father, for allowing us to dwell in our secret dwelling

[00:02:17] place with You, Lord

[00:02:19] Heavenly Father, we know that we can abide under Your almighty shadow

[00:02:24] by dwelling in our secret dwelling place this morning

[00:02:28] Heavenly Father, we thank You for our family, our friends

[00:02:33] but most of all Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of life

[00:02:39] Forgiving Your life so long, long time ago, Father God

[00:02:43] We thank You, Lord, for that covenant that You made with us, Father God

[00:02:48] with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob

[00:02:52] and extended it to us, O Lord

[00:02:55] Heavenly Father, we just bless Your name right now

[00:02:59] We just bless Your name right now

[00:03:02] We thank You this day, Father God

[00:03:05] for Your grace and Your mercy

[00:03:08] because we know that it is new every single day

[00:03:13] as we go on our day to day, Father God, let our hearts and our minds

[00:03:18] stay steadfast on Your Word, Father God

[00:03:21] Heavenly Father, may we hear a word from You today

[00:03:26] that appears so our hearts change our minds, Father God

[00:03:31] Heavenly Father, as we go on our way, Father God, let us be reminded today, Father God

[00:03:37] that You sit up high, that You look down low

[00:03:42] that You make us lie down by green waters

[00:03:46] and You lead us beside still waters

[00:03:49] But most of all, Heavenly Father, thank You for restoring our souls for Your name's sake

[00:03:56] Heavenly Father, as we go through our day to day, Father God

[00:03:59] let us lean not to our own understanding

[00:04:02] but in all our ways acknowledge You, Father God

[00:04:07] may we keep our mind in heavenly places, and our minds

[00:04:11] stand fast on Your Word today, Lord

[00:04:16] may we give someone a kind word

[00:04:19] be open to Your correctional heavenly Father

[00:04:22] be obedient, Father God, for Your statutes and Your commandments, O Lord

[00:04:27] we just bless Your name right now, Lord

[00:04:33] because You are worthy

[00:04:35] to be praised on this day, Father God

[00:04:39] we cast all our cares upon You

[00:04:43] and we take up Your Yoke today, O Heavenly Father

[00:04:55] we just got to plead the blood

[00:04:59] over our lives

[00:05:01] we got to talk to them

[00:05:03] we got to talk to them like we talked to our ordinary friends and family

[00:05:09] we got to let them know that we love them each and every day

[00:05:13] let them be our God

[00:05:15] let them direct our path, bring us out of the dark, into the light

[00:05:20] be obedient, absorb, absorb and observe His Word

[00:05:28] you know

[00:05:30] God loves each and every one of us

[00:05:34] and He stands with His arms open wide

[00:05:38] every single day, all you got to do

[00:05:41] is walk through them

[00:05:43] ask Him to meet you

[00:05:45] right where you're at in your life

[00:05:48] because He never leaves us

[00:05:52] we always leave Him

[00:05:57] so bless His name today, guys

[00:07:17] we left off in Numbers

[00:07:20] chapter 16, verse 9 on Wednesday

[00:07:24] we gonna do a little recap

[00:07:28] we know

[00:07:30] that Cora and his crew

[00:07:33] has taken up upon themselves

[00:07:36] to go to Moses

[00:07:39] them and 250 other Israelite men

[00:07:43] well-known community leaders

[00:07:47] who have been an appointed members of the cancel

[00:07:50] they took it upon their self to oppose Moses

[00:07:54] and Avrin

[00:07:56] a little backstory on that guys

[00:07:57] if you don't remember

[00:07:59] when we were talking earlier this year

[00:08:03] oh gosh, you can threaten my eye

[00:08:05] when we were talking earlier this year

[00:08:07] about

[00:08:09] the tribes

[00:08:11] and these are Levites

[00:08:15] but they're not priests

[00:08:17] they are people that will put in place to help

[00:08:21] Avrin and the other priests

[00:08:23] and they have called their self

[00:08:26] rising up

[00:08:27] so what we left off

[00:08:31] on Wednesday we gonna pick right up

[00:08:33] chapter 16, verse 8

[00:08:37] and it goes a little bit like this today guys

[00:08:40] I am reading

[00:08:42] out of my NIV

[00:08:45] and Moses also said to Cora

[00:08:47] now listen you Levites

[00:08:50] isn't it enough for you

[00:08:52] the God, the God of Israel

[00:08:54] has separated you from the rest

[00:08:56] of the Israelite community

[00:08:58] and brought you near to himself

[00:09:02] to do the work

[00:09:03] at the Lord's Tabernacle

[00:09:06] and to stand before the community

[00:09:08] and minister to them

[00:09:10] has he brought you

[00:09:12] and all your fellow Levites near himself

[00:09:16] but now you are trying to get priests to two

[00:09:20] it is against the Lord that you and all your fellow followers

[00:09:25] have banded together

[00:09:29] who is Avrin

[00:09:30] that you should grumble against him

[00:09:33] then Moses summoned

[00:09:37] Dayton, Dayton

[00:09:40] and Avrin

[00:09:42] the sons of Ella

[00:09:45] but they said we will not come

[00:09:49] isn't it enough that you have brought us out

[00:09:52] of a land flowing with milk and honey

[00:09:56] to kill us in the wilderness

[00:09:59] and now you also want the Lord

[00:10:03] over us

[00:10:05] more over you haven't brought us into a land

[00:10:08] flowing with milk and honey

[00:10:10] or giving us any inheritance

[00:10:13] of fields and vineyards

[00:10:18] do you want to treat these people like slaves?

[00:10:22] no, we will not come

[00:10:26] then Moses became very angry and said to the Lord

[00:10:30] do not accept their offerings

[00:10:34] I have not taken so much as a donkey from them

[00:10:39] nor have I wronged any of them

[00:10:43] Moses said to Cara

[00:10:46] you and all your followers are to appear before the Lord tomorrow

[00:10:50] you and they and Avrin

[00:10:53] each man is to take his his censor

[00:10:59] and put incense in it

[00:11:02] 250 censors in all

[00:11:05] and present it before the Lord

[00:11:08] you and Avrin are to present your censors also

[00:11:12] so each took

[00:11:14] each of them took his censor

[00:11:17] put burning coals and incense in it

[00:11:20] and stood with Moses and Avrin

[00:11:22] at the entrance to the tent of meeting

[00:11:28] and work or had gathered all his followers

[00:11:31] in opposition to them at the entrance

[00:11:33] to the tent of the meeting

[00:11:35] the glory of the Lord appeared

[00:11:38] to the entire

[00:11:40] The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, separate yourselves from the assembly so that I can put an end to them at once.

[00:11:51] But Moses and Aaron fell face down and cried out, "Oh God, the God who gives breath to all living things.

[00:11:59] Will you be angry with the entire assembly when only one man sins?"

[00:12:06] Then the Lord said to Moses, say to the assembly, move away from the tents of Cora, Nathan, and Abraham, Abraham.

[00:12:17] I could never get that wake right guys.

[00:12:19] Moses got up and went to then, to then.

[00:12:23] Nathan and Abraham and the elders of Israel followed him.

[00:12:31] He warned the assembly, moved back from the tents of these wicked men.

[00:12:37] Do not touch anything belonging to them, or you will be swept away because of all their sins.

[00:12:46] So they moved away from the tents of Cora, Nathan, and Abraham.

[00:12:52] And Nathan and Abraham came out and were standing with their wives, children, and little ones at the interest to their tents.

[00:13:05] Then Moses said, "This is how you will know that the Lord has sent me to do all things and that it is not my idea.

[00:13:17] If these men die a natural death and serve for the fate of all mankind, then the Lord has not sent me."

[00:13:27] But if the Lord brings about something totally new and the earth opens up its mouth and swallows them

[00:13:37] with everything that belongs to them and they go down alive into the realm of the dead,

[00:13:45] then you will know that these men have treated the Lord with contempt.

[00:13:54] As soon as he finished saying all these things, the ground underneath them split apart and the earth opened its mouth

[00:14:02] and swallowed them and their households.

[00:14:06] And all those that was associated with Cora together with their possessions.

[00:14:14] We're going to stop right there.

[00:14:17] That was Numbers, Chapter 16, Verse 8, through 31, and we're going to talk about it guys.

[00:14:29] We're going to talk about it.

[00:14:32] You know, in today's world, we think things like that don't happen, but it does.

[00:14:43] In different countries we've had, it happened in the paths where they've had the ground opened up

[00:14:51] and I believe it swallowed a whole building and there's so many different stories out there.

[00:14:56] And I don't have my history on that.

[00:14:59] But I know what I know.

[00:15:03] And I know that we serve a jealous God.

[00:15:09] He don't want you to put anything of no one before him.

[00:15:14] But can you imagine in this day's time with God in our lives, in our hearts?

[00:15:24] But if he was going before us, like he was doing the Israelites, his people, his sons.

[00:15:32] When he was talking to Pharaoh, he told Pharaoh, "Take your hands off the neck of my son, my firstborn."

[00:15:42] He called the Israelite people, his people, his first sons.

[00:15:46] So if you have your Lord and Savior going before you in a cloud by day, in a ball of fire by night,

[00:15:58] and he gives you a promise, "I'm gonna give you this land."

[00:16:03] But there's always one bad apple that will spoil the bunch.

[00:16:13] Making people think things, planting seeds of doubt.

[00:16:20] In our hands, that has been on my heart and my mind for about two weeks now.

[00:16:27] As I entered into this chapter, planting seeds of doubt.

[00:16:36] In the people, these other leaders that went out to count out the land come back.

[00:16:43] Yeah, it is fruitful.

[00:16:46] It is a land overflowing with milk and honey.

[00:16:50] However, it has fortified people, giants, and buildings, and we just can't possibly defeat them.

[00:16:59] And you got Joshua and Caleb saying to the people, "No, with God for us."

[00:17:04] As the word says, God is with us.

[00:17:06] If God before us, who can be against us?

[00:17:11] So now Moses and Abraham got two more.

[00:17:15] Stand it on God's word.

[00:17:18] But then here we go again.

[00:17:20] We read about that in Numbers 15, but now we're in 16.

[00:17:26] Now you've got these 250 people with three others, calls in ruckus, calls in confusion, complaining.

[00:17:36] I've said it before, and I'll say it again, much as we do today.

[00:17:44] We all do it, just not satisfied with the things that God has provided for us or that

[00:17:52] He said He would do all His promises in His word.

[00:17:58] You just got to pick it up and read it and put it back to him.

[00:18:06] We survey God that stands on His promises, having an earth will pass away before His word.

[00:18:17] Come back to Him, avoid.

[00:18:22] But you got these people.

[00:18:26] Now they've got a problem with Aaron and the other priests.

[00:18:32] You were assigned a task.

[00:18:34] Your task was to help out.

[00:18:37] Much like us today, in our churches, there are so many things that we can do in our church

[00:18:48] assembly, not for form, not for fashion, not for a show, but because your heart and your

[00:18:54] mind stays steadfast on God's word.

[00:18:58] You're doing it with an open heart.

[00:19:00] Good intentions, keeping your mind on heavenly places, being obedient to your heavenly Father.

[00:19:09] Take up your position, wherever He leads you.

[00:19:15] Everybody's not meant to be in the pool pit.

[00:19:18] Everybody can't sing.

[00:19:21] But there is something that you can do.

[00:19:25] If you want to please your heavenly Father, we should be doing all things that's pleasing

[00:19:30] unto Him, not unto ourselves.

[00:19:35] Opening up our hearts and our minds and being obedient.

[00:19:42] If you are going to be obedient to your earthly Father, be obedient to your heavenly Father.

[00:19:50] He has stored up so much that He wants in our lives individually.

[00:19:57] Nobody's life looked like the other.

[00:20:03] But He knows every hair on our head.

[00:20:08] He knew us from my mother's womb.

[00:20:14] He loves us. His grace and mercy is everlasting.

[00:20:22] What more would you want in your life.

[00:20:26] He breathes his breath into our bodies on a daily basis.

[00:20:31] He wakes us up.

[00:20:34] He plants that idea.

[00:20:37] He gives us every working organ, every moving limb.

[00:20:43] We have our thoughts so that we can bear good fruit.

[00:20:49] He guides our footsteps.

[00:20:51] All you got to do is call out to Him.

[00:20:53] And in this passage, with these people rising up against Moses and Avron, can you imagine

[00:21:05] if the whole ground underneath you opened up and swallowed you and all your possessions.

[00:21:17] I am so glad that Jesus Christ came and died on that cross for my sins.

[00:21:26] Because back in the Old Testament, they had a lot to contend with as we see here.

[00:21:32] God didn't play.

[00:21:35] He did not play.

[00:21:39] And as I take that for my life today, as I read His Word, I start to meditate on the different

[00:21:49] things that the Old Testament provides me in the Word as well as the new.

[00:21:56] And I thought about it today and I researched a little bit, videos, and it can't come quite

[00:22:04] crumb to my mind right now, which country it was, where it did swallow up a whole building.

[00:22:13] The ground just opened up earthquake, things of that nature's sinkholes.

[00:22:18] They called them strategically around in different countries.

[00:22:25] Just imagine, with all the things that we got going on now, and how if Jesus Christ did

[00:22:38] not come, die on the cross for us, rose on a third day with all power in His hand.

[00:22:52] And it has one thing that He's so serious about with us in our lives.

[00:22:57] Today is love, love, thou neighbor, not just your physical neighbor, your family, your

[00:23:06] friends, that stranger.

[00:23:08] Just imagine with everything that we've got going on in this world today.

[00:23:16] Because you guys know the scene starts in the-

[00:23:21] garage. Get up around the heart. Just imagine with all the things that we got going on the day. If we were like back in the old Testament when God got angry and opened up this ground and swallowed us with all our precious possessions that we hold on to that we idolize that he says, don't put no other gods before him. Those things.

[00:23:51] Did you hold so dearly to the houses, the cars? Those are idols putting things before God. And I can talk about this. I try to keep my mouth off of certain things.

[00:24:13] That I don't have any idea about sometimes I get in my own way. I'm still battling that flesh. I told you guys before.

[00:24:22] Your flesh did not get saved. You invited God, the Holy Spirit into your life into your heart.

[00:24:34] So we will forever be fighting all fleshly things. And also, if you don't stay in your word, so you can get that wisdom and understanding.

[00:24:49] You will be forever doing it your way. But just imagine if we were back in that town.

[00:25:07] God got angry quick with disobedience. And I thank God that Jesus died on that cross rose with all power in his hand on the third day and just asked me to love thy neighbor.

[00:25:26] Now, it does not negate the rest of the commandments.

[00:25:33] But if I keep my heart full of love and get away from that jealousy, that envy that strife, that judgmental type mentality that I used to have before God came and cleaned me up and he's not through with me.

[00:25:49] He's not there with me. I'm going to be walking this thing out until he called me home.

[00:25:59] But what I am glad about today that I know that he will convict me in my walk, if there is something that I am not doing right that is unpleasing unto him.

[00:26:17] The Holy Spirit will come to you.

[00:26:20] And I choose to clean that up.

[00:26:28] I choose to clean that up. We have to have a maid of mine to do right by others.

[00:26:36] To do what you can do with this in your means.

[00:26:42] Not anybody else's role. And as we see here in numbers, these men rose up with 250 people falling behind them, because they were not they were not pleased.

[00:26:59] With the roles that they were given in their lives.

[00:27:02] You know, my vision of Santa a few weeks ago, staying in your lane.

[00:27:11] Saying your lane and I'm always saying.

[00:27:15] I sit in the passenger seat with my wall with my heavenly father.

[00:27:23] I'm going to him stay in the driver's seat.

[00:27:27] And whatever he chooses, whatever his will is for my life.

[00:27:32] That's what I'll do. And sometimes we may not always get it right, but that's what being in your word fellowship and with God, getting to know him for yourself, let him be your friend, your father.

[00:27:49] He'll he'll come along and start action the words of his daily bread across the tables of your heart, give you something to think about.

[00:27:59] Give you something to think about.

[00:28:03] All it takes is something to think about.

[00:28:09] When you get into your world.

[00:28:12] I'm still on fire for God.

[00:28:17] I'm still on fire for God.

[00:28:20] How he changed me.

[00:28:22] Reshaped made and molded me.

[00:28:26] Everybody is not going to be that happy as you're happy when you know that you've been touched by God because they've been touched.

[00:28:36] They don't understand what your excitement is.

[00:28:41] But I'm still on fire for and I know that if I stay in my word that's going to keep me on fire.

[00:28:48] It's going to keep my mind and heavenly places.

[00:28:52] I'm not going to be so quick to grumble about the position that he puts me in.

[00:28:59] Because everything that he does in my life, he's working it out for my good.

[00:29:11] And I just thought about this as I was reading it.

[00:29:16] The last couple days and how he had planted a message in my spirit, planting seeds, planting seeds.

[00:29:27] And I know I read it in Matthew and Mark and all of those places.

[00:29:32] But I said, Lord, you're talking to me about planting seeds.

[00:29:37] What is this all about?

[00:29:39] I'm reading about Caleb and Joshua coming on the scene.

[00:29:45] And as I began to meditate on what I was reading in my spirit, he broke it down for me, planting seeds, letting people plant seeds of doubt.

[00:29:59] It's okay to have someone bring you a thought or even a message sometimes.

[00:30:09] But you have to have that discern in spirit that God gives all of us.

[00:30:14] If that message is right, if that situation is right for you.

[00:30:21] And when you're in God's word and you have a relationship with him,

[00:30:29] he'll give you the answer.

[00:30:30] All you gotta do is cry out to him, call out to him and that is what your girl will continue to do for the rest of her life.

[00:30:41] This ain't an impress a person, a people place or thing for me.

[00:30:49] This is a relationship with my Heavenly Father.

[00:30:57] He's the only one who's attention that I want to get.

[00:31:01] So, as I decided to incorporate the morning inspirations on my show a year or so ago,

[00:31:11] I was on fire then and I'm on fire now just to share what I read on a daily basis that feels my soul, feels my cup up to the brim.

[00:31:27] And I am so thankful for the many of you that has decided to stick and stay in there with me.

[00:31:34] I have many of you tell me that you like the way that I tell the story and I really truly appreciate that.

[00:31:44] So, as we move into verse 33 Numbers chapter 16 verse 33 on out on Monday,

[00:31:55] we'll see how this thing ends and by all means, if you want to move a little head

[00:32:04] and continue to read it over the weekend, please feel free, you'll be have one up on me.

[00:32:11] I've read it before but I enjoy going back and reading it.

[00:32:15] But if you can't do anything else this weekend, give someone a kind word, a hot meal goes even further.

[00:32:25] Find you a word to hold on to. Find you something that you can write down on a slip of paper,

[00:32:34] slip it in your pocket or your pocketbook, something to hold on to to be etched across the tables of your

[00:32:42] heart. And find yourself in a good Bible based church fellowship and what like minded people.

[00:32:52] Remember it's not about the building. The Lord enjoys a choice for noise, a joyful noise.

[00:33:04] He loves to hear us cry out to him. It's like sweet music to his ears.
